What's in the name?
harem (hâr'em, hār'-) :
  • A house or a section of a house reserved for women members of a Muslim household.
  • The wives, concubines, female relatives, and servants occupying such a place.
  • A group of women sexual partners for one man.

Globetrot (glōb'trŏt'): intr.v. globe·trot·ted, globe·trot·ting, globe·trots

  • To travel often and widely, especially for sightseeing.
The intentions might appear unscrupulous to the reader, but believe us, our intentions are noble.

We are The Harem Globetrotters.

How in the world did we come across the name? I do not remember the exact date, time or situation, but it just happened sometime during our Hampi trip last year. Perhaps you can call it Serendipity, and maybe it is poetic justice to compare ourselves to the Three Princes of Serendip, who make astonishing discoveries through their travels. As I like to say, each journey is an experience in itself.

To be concluded...
